Who we are, and what we stand for
We believe that everyone’s got different moods, and improving yours should be easy. That’s why we created Mood, an online source for 100% federally legal cannabis from America’s favorite farms, that helps you quickly and easily get to your best mood.
Mission. We think cannabis should be accessible, affordable, convenient, and transparent. But most importantly, we believe in supporting the American farmers who make all of this possible.
Story. Founded in 2022 by David Charles and Jake Antifaev, Mood now has a global team of 200+ full-time employees in addition to our robust network of small, U.S. farmers and manufacturing partners. We've built partnerships with over 50 small American farms, bolstering local economies and promoting sustainable farming practices.

Impact. Social impact is a business pillar, not an afterthought. This year, we've donated tens of thousands of dollars to pet humane societies. We’ve contributed to the campaigns of politicians who advocate for cannabis, contributing to the broader movement toward recognition and acceptance.

David Charles
Co-founder & CEO
A multi-time 8-9 figure entrepreneur with a passion for products and storytelling.
David most recently tenured as an executive at a YC-backed telehealth company and brings a wealth of experience in leveraging technology to drive innovation and growth. But he’s not all hustle; he loves chess, movies, and petting every dog he sees.
Jake Antifaev
Co-founder + Head of Digital Advertising
His entrepreneurial spirit surfaced early in life, as he was running a 7-figure digital business by the time he was 16.
He’s now a multi-time 8-9 figure entrepreneur who’s managed over nine figures in advertising budgets. Hailing from Canada, he can't help but express a bit of maple syrup envy towards Vermont. Jake finds joy in spending time with his family in the Canadian outdoors, devoting himself to his wife and two daughters, while eagerly anticipating the arrival of a third.

How do you create the different moods?Lots of people have heard of cannabis being indica or sativa — but we go way beyond these simple definitions! Our in-house cannabis experts start by reviewing detailed lab tests which measure levels of naturally occurring minor cannabinoids and terpenes. We classify these results based on the sum of their parts, which allows us to determine way more about the results than simple Indica or Sativa types. Everybody reacts slightly differently to cannabis, so it’s not a 100% perfect science, but most people who shop according to mood are very satisfied!
